The Manichaeans rejected the Old Testament with its 10 Commandments,
but they had their own. There are different imperfect accounts of the 10
laws required of Manichaean Listeners. Below is an account of the 5 Elect
Commandments and 10 Manichaean Listener precepts as recorded by one historian.
5 Commandments of the Elect (Monks and Nuns)
