Practices
FOUNDATIONAL PRACTICES
Nazoreans,
in preparation for deeper meditation exercise, are encouraged to accomplish
nine steps toward purifying the stream of thoughts and feelings associated
with earth life. The preferred pattern is to use a 101 bead Gnostic Mala
and to count out each day 1 repetition of the first longer paragraph, followed
by 100 repitions of the shorter phrase. This ideally should be done for
a thousand days, or 36 lunar months.
PRACTICE 1: Inflaming the heart and mind with
compassion for everyone.
[Repeat Once]: O Mani-Hiya, and all Buddhas
of the three times who have developed the mind of enlightenment, for the
sake of Living Pearls, assist me to generate the mind of enlightenment
in myself and others and to quickly pass through all the stages of Nazirutha.
May I penetrate the mysteries, bless with a good conscious, be great and
yet empty, return to stillness and be forgiving, be compassionate and deliver
all people, do good deeds and help people reach the other shore - to this
I aspire!
[Repeat 100 Times]: Through the virtues I collect
by giving and other perfections, May I become a Buddha for the benefit
of all.
PRACTICE 2: Seeking refuge in the Four Peaceful
Deities.
[Repeat Once]: "I take refuge in the Purity
of the Hidden Living Ones,
I take refuge in the Light fo the Messiah-Buddhas,
I take refuge in the Power and Path
of the Fivefold-God,
I take refuge in the Wisdom of the Holy Family
of Life,
To this Life, Light, Way & Truth I go
for eternal refuge, through the grace of Yeshu and Miryai, Amen."
[Repeat 100 Times]: I and all scattered Pearls,
until we achieve enlightenment, go for refuge in Hiya, Orta, Dirka and
Kushta.
PRACTICE 3: Confession of sins.
[Repeat Once]: As grass and trees of earth,
and stars and planets of heaven,
As dust and sand on the globe and drizzling
rain on earth
So are my many sins and wrongs from all incarnations,
O broad and kind, dignified and solemn Yeshu
Buddha and blessed Mani!
Pray, show great mercy and forgive my sins
and the sins of all Nazoreans.
[Repeat 100 Times]: I confess my wrong deeds
from all time, and rejoice in the virtues of all.
PRACTICE 4: Offering of Alms
[Repeat Once]: I offer my life, and consecrate
myself, and vow to gather ziwane' from the gloomy, deep sea of tortures,
and hasten to offer them to the clean and pure Lords of Nazirutha. I will
save the suffering Buddhas from ulcers and pain, and wash and cleanse the
bright pearls from mud and urine. All the wonderful alms which are received,
as said by the Law, are restored to the original Lord, dignified and solemn,
clean and pure, and these are exactly the flesh and blood of Yeshu.
[Repeat 100 Times]: I make offerings both set
out and imagined, as well as of myself, without any sense of loss, please
accept these and bless me to be released from the five poisons.
PRACTICE 5: Connecting to the lineage of Light.
[Repeat Once]: I pray to the blessed Miryai
who holds the keys to liberation, please empower me with your blessed wisdom
and grant me the compassion of the eternal Living Ones. Channel to
me the Light and Life of the Mother and Father of Life, and of Yeshu and
Maria the Radiant and Luminous ones. May Uthrai and Shikintai walk among
us, and may the Light Mind always inspire thy Priestesshood on earth.
[Repeat 100 Times]: From the hearts of all
holy beings, streams of light and nectar flow down, granting blessings
and purifying.
PRACTICE 6: Purifications
[Repeat Once]: I offer prostrations to Mani-Hiya,
the Ever Living Buddha of Light who liberates all scattered pearls by means
of compassion. This is the essential recitation to pacify suffering. By
stirring the depths of the sufferings of this cyclic world. May all scattered
pearls be gathered and liberated.
[Repeat 100 Times]: With my body, speech and
mind, humbly I approach the Living Ones, praying for purification.
PRACTICE 7: Reciting mantras.
[Repeat Once]: Good is the Good to the good,
and They set their nature upon those who love their name. We will seek
and find, and will pray and be heard. We have sought and found, we prayed
and were heard in thy presence, my Lord Yeshu and Maryam d-Hiya, Lords
of Healings.
[Repeat 100 Times]: Female: Thubak Yeshu, habib
d-Miryai, aqarai hasha, ushaiya d-sniq, Amin.
Male: Thubak Miryai, habib d-Yeshu, aqarai
hasha, ushaiya d-sniq, Amin.
Hail Yeshu [Thubak Yeshu] Beloved of Miryai
[habib d- Miryai] Come to me now [aqarai hasha]and the hour of need [u
shaiya d-sniq] Amen [Amin]
PRACTICE 8: Contemplations on how nothing here
remains the same or continues forever.
[Repeat Once]: There are only two things,
good and evil deeds,
Which follow my Buddha-nature wherever I go
or sit;
But all honor and prosperity, treasures and
curiosities must be given up altogether on the day of impermanence.
The wise will wake and know, and improve themselves
beforehand.
[Repeat 100 Times]: My body like a water bubble
decays and dies so very quickly, After death come results from karma just
like the shadow of the body.
PRACTICE 9:Dedication and giving away of all
earned merit.
[Repeat Once]: All virtuous deeds of the three
gates of body, speech, and mind,
I dedicate for the benefit of all scattered
pearls lost in almayya,
By purifying all the negative actions and
obscurations accumulated in the three times,
May all scattered pearls swiftly be gathered,
enlightened, and be taken home.
[Repeat 100 Times]: I give away my merit that
everyone may be happy and free from pain, may everyone have equality.
CLIMBING UP THE 33 RUNG LADDER OF LIGHT
The Nazorean Way stresses the importance of
a continual progression into ever deeper states of holiness and consciousness.
We depict these stages by the thirty-threefold Tree of Life. To "Climb
the Tree of Life" is to progress ever deeper into the Mysteries of Miryai
and Yeshu the Nazorean. Nazorean Enlightenment unfolds in a 33 step graduating
process which culminates in freedom from all dualistic thought and in ultimate
oneness with Amin-Hayya above. These 32 + 1 degrees of deepening endowment
are mentioned in the ancient Pistis Sophia text where Yeshu carefully explains
their necessity and purpose in the great scheme of Redemptive Intercession.
Each degree has an outer Ritual and inner reality. Full reception of any
one degree is only completed when the inner essence of that degree is fully
comprehended and internalized. It is possible to draw imperfect corelations
between the stages of Nazirutha enlightenment and various stages of Dzogchen
