The first two sections of all three prayers of the modern Mandaeans are the same. The endings, however, differ according to the time of day. The bulk of these prayers is the second section, said at each prayer time.

The rather different daily Manichaean prayer seems to have substituted Qulasta Prayer 9 in the place of the Asiet Malkia, or Qulasta 105 (section 2 in this Mandaean prayer below).  Perhaps the Manichaean prayer reflects a substitution of the longer 37 deity prayer to a shorter 12 fold prayer as a concession to the Manichaean Listeners. This seems possible since the Elect's noontime prayer was said to contain 37 bowings, or 37 Deities, just like the Asiet Malkia, or Qulasta 105 outlined below.
